Gary Kimble (Lawrence Jameson) - began his career in 1976 with the Kenley Players where he worked with Paul Lynde, Maxine Andrews, Kitty Carlisle-Hart, Dom Ameche, Tommy Tune and Mickey Rooney. He has worked regionally at Long Island’s Gateway Playhouse, West Virginia Public Theatre, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Pasadena Playhouse, D.C.’s Arena Stage, at Miami’s Coconut Grove Playhouse as Prince William of Hesse in the acclaimed production of The Rothschilds. Some national and international tour credits include Abner Dillon in 42nd Street, Mayor Shinn in The Music Man, Mr. Brownlow in Oliver, Henry Higgins in the award-winning world tour of My Fair Lady, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas which he played in 69 cities in the US including Hollywood at The Kodak Theater. In 2007 and 2008, Gary toured the country as Captain Hook in the national tour of Peter Pan. On TV, Gary was featured in the Barbara Walters special, Finding Annie, and on the Discovery Channel in Bloody Shenandoah. He has performed Off Broadway at La Mama, P.S. 122, Theater for the New City, Home Theater, Primary Stages, Westbank, The John Housman, The Douglas Fairbanks Theater, The New York Shakespeare Festival’s Public Theater and at New Playwrites Horizons. These New York productions include A Walk on Lake Erie, The Brass Ring, God’s Country, Augustine’s Generation X and as Koroviev in the world premiere of Master and Margarita. He also played the role of Eddie in the New York revival of Golden Boy. Gary has performed on stages around the world, in 34 countries abroad and in 800 cities in the US and Canada. Gary is also a television voice over artist and teaches acting in New York City. He was seen here on Broadway Palm’s mainstage as Sheriff Ed Earl in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, as Captain Hook in Peter Pan and most recently in The Off Broadway Palm Theatre as Bill in Bill W. and Dr. Bob. | |
