Synopsis
Based on the hit film, 9 to 5 The Musical is a rollicking tale of revenge, friendship, and empowerment set in the late 1970s. Office workers Violet, Judy, and Doralee band together to outsmart their tyrannical boss and transform their workplace into a model of equality and respect. Featuring an original score by Dolly Parton, including the unforgettable title number, this high energy musical comedy delivers big laughs, dynamic characters, and an inspiring reminder that change begins with courage.

Abigail Aldridge (Ensemble/Doralee US) is thrilled to return to Broadway Palm, where she was most recently seen as Grizabella in Cats! A NYC-based actor originally from New Orleans, her favorite credits include A Christmas Story (Miss Shields), Escape to Margaritaville (Tammy), and Legally Blonde (Paulette). All love to her family and friends, and to Dolly Parton, for always being an inspiration!

Nia Alsop (Judy Bernly) is a recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music, she is an actor, singer, and writer born in Washington, D.C. She has appeared as Leading Player in Pippin and the Witch in Into the Woods. She believes in the power of truth-telling through her art and is honored to portray Judy.

Sarah Hayes (Violet Newstead) last appeared on the Broadway Palm stage as Velma Von Tussle in the National Tour of Hairspray and she is delighted to be back!
